In September'37, Air Canada commenced with the name of Trans-Canada Airlines. The first 50 minute flight was on a Lockheed L-10A. It flew from Vancouver to Seattle, carrying some mail and only two people. The airline became popular very soon and Trans-Canada Airlines became Canada's national airline, by the year'64. Around the same time, it was renamed as Air Canada. In the year'89, Air Canada was privatized. Around the same time, the airlines also took over the Canadian Airlines International.

Its 8:20 am on a Saturday in Monteverde. The farmers market is already in full swing. I would normally be one of the first ones there to get first pick of all the organic produce available. The kids run wild there and my boy loves it. I decided to stay in this morning and drink coffee and make a little journal entry. Later, at 10am, there is a yoga class Ill probably go to, and at 11:30 some friends are getting together to play Ultimate Frisbee.

I awoke this morning at 6am at the Friends School in Monteverde. I volunteered last night to be the night watchman. After a series of local robberies we were forced to up the security of the schoolhouse in the evenings. I had breakfast at Stellas bakery this morning, after being attacked by a dog. Both the caffeine and the adrenaline rush got me off to a perky start.
